In the cycling campaign’s opinion this type of facility is only suitable for areas such as railway stations. They should not be used in a residential scheme owing to the difficulty of pulling out the top “cycle drawer” and the screech they make. If you are looking at using them, pay special attention to the height of the ceiling or roof of where they are housed.
