CCC comments on draft Highway Code
Colchester Cycling Campaign has submitted its recommendations for the revised Highway Code.
Our main criticism is over the call in the draft that cyclists should use cycle facilities if provided. We agree with the CTC on this. Read more.
We are also asking for the Code to have a full overhaul - with sections for each road user, and sub-sections for how they should interact with others.
Sounds dry? Well, yes, but we think it's worth reading if you care about the future of cycling.
