CCC Bicycle News is run by Colchester Cycling Campaign for this website and can be used by anyone interested in cycling in the town and around, not just members.
Use CCC Bicycle News to arrange leisure rides, ask for route or mechanical advice, ask about events, and to raise issues of concern to other cyclists in Essex.
You can join by sending a mail, substituting the "at" for an "@". You will then receive an e-mail invitation and easy-to-follow instructions from Yahoo, which hosts the service. To restrict spam, all new memberships have to be approved by CCC.
Note that we used a service called Topica up until May 22. Everyone who was a member has been mailed to tell them about the change.
The number of e-mails is relatively low, currently averaging one or two a day.
Please note:
:: This service is now run by Colchester Cycling Campaign
:: This service is NOT monitored. If you find any message abusive, complain directly to us and we will raise it with the sender.
:: Colchester Cycling Campaign reserves the right to refuse membership of CCC Bicycle News, and to rescind an individual's membership at any time
:: Avoid forwarding long sections of previous mail: clip to whatever is relevant.
:: Keep the instructions issued to you when joining. They will tell you how to turn your account on and off which will prevent members receiving annoying "Out of Office" replies.
